On 5 December 2022 I participated in a conference organised jointly by the International Institute for Peace, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Vienna and the Renner Institute about the War in Ukraine. I spoke at the panel “The long and difficult road to peace” with a particular focus on the role of the EU and the need to engage with the international community much more strongly in bringing about peace talks. I also participated in the public panel discussion in the evening.
